DDC is a full service comprehensive Disability Management Consulting firm design specially to provide employment solutions to employers. The organization is highly experienced and knowledgeable in taking on the needs of government organizations and major private employers. DDC focus is on controlling absences from work as a result of illness, injury or disability, and on preventing the risks that cause these absences. DDC provides a deliberate and coordinated effort to reduce the occurrence and effect of illness and injury on workforce productivity, and to promote employee attachment. DDC also provide extensive consulting services to human resources and departments regarding employment laws pertaining to the federal government's Americans Disability Act (ADA) and the State of California's Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). Both ADA and FEHA protects employees from disability discrimination in the areas of work application, promotion, termination, compensation and benefits. Dwight D. Dickerson,

Mr. Dickerson is the Principal, of Dickerson Disability Consulting Service, Inc. (DDC), Established in 2000, DDC has worked with employers such as The Boeing Company for over 20 years assisting with employee return-to-work efforts. DDC current clients include Sheraton International Los Angeles, City of Torrance, City of Compton, City of Huntington Beach, Culver City, Orange County Transit Authority and Sacramento Regional Transit. Dwight Dickerson understands how return-to-work and employment issues can impact business operations and financial outlook. For over 20 years, Mr. Dickerson has helped employers manage return-to-work programs, including a focus on workers's compensation requirements, and has
prepared ergonomic evaluations, essential Functions Job Analysis and provided training to employers on the identification of essential job functions and job accommodations, including facilitating interactive meetings and consulting on ADA/FEHA issues. Mr. Dickerson begins his training in 1982, in vocational rehabilitation while in employed with Web Disability Management Systems, Inc. In 1992 in a response to the implementation of the Federal Law ADA, Mr. Dickerson became the companies' Marketing Vice-President in developing disability management programs to serve employers in California. This was in response to employers needs to coordinate workplace requirements brought on by the ADA/FEHA and related regulatory changes in California's worker's compensation system with an emphasis on early return to work which is a proactive service.
Under the direction of Mr. Dickerson, DDC continues to assist employers with the myriad of regulatory requirements and best practices related to stay-at-work and return-to-work. Ms. Dickerson received his education and degree (BA) at Arkansas State University at Little Rock. He is a Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM) and a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). Mr. Dickerson is also a certified Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant (CRC). Mr. Dickerson is a member of The Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC). Mr. Dickerson has spent well over 25 years working with employers, insurance carriers and other stakeholders to Keep California Working.
